Calvin Brazile, founder, president and CEO of CompuArt Design, began his career as a freelance artist, set designer and art director for various television shows and specials. He was the Art Director for three years at WGPR-TV in Detroit, MI.  A graduate of the Art Academy of Cincinnati, Ohio, Calvin spent nearly twenty years as the principal illustrator and Manager of Graphic Production, for the City of Detroit's Communications and Creative Services Department.  He was responsible for supervising a staff of four graphic artists, and the major renovation of a video production studio. 

Calvin moved to the private sector in 1997 and established CompuArt Design to provide graphic design services to businesses, public institutions and civic organizations. In addition to his graphic design skills, Calvin is a very talented and experienced fine artist. His specialty is painting in both oils and acrylics. "Due to the demands of running my own company for so many years, I unfortunately put my painting on the backburner. This past year I feel I've been rejuvinated working with SuVon and Siana on various shows," says Calvin. "I have to admit that fine arts is truly where my heart is." Calvin also enjoys woodwork and sculpture in his spare time. He has done extensive building projects including home renovations and furniture design.
